Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, Night shift (19:00 - 07:30). Requires every other weekend and holiday coverage as per schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients presenting with a variety of acute conditions.
• Perform triage, assessments, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress using the EPIC charting system.
• Assist in emergency procedures and interventions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in MD or compact state.
• 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS are mandatory.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Charge experience preferred.
