Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Hospital

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00), with rotations over 36 or 48 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for an assignment in an acute care hospital environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support various nursing functions within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments to patients based on physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
• Provide support in various specialized nursing areas, including but not limited to ICU, cardiac care, and trauma management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and actions accurately in the Meditech charting system.
• Assist with procedures and use specialized equipment as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing role, particularly with IV start and management.
• ACLS and BLS certification are required.
• Experience with managing a patient ratio of 2 during day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Travel experience is required.
