Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x12-Hour Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:30) with variable weekends and every other holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical setting and be adept at managing patient care with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including administration of oxygen and non-invasive airway management.
• Care for patients utilizing isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team with support from various specialties.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience in a nursing role.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 6 patients per nurse.
• Familiarity with charting systems is required; experience with any community hospital charting system is acceptable.
• Valid RN license in the state of practice required at the time of submission.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
