Registered Respiratory Therapist - 12 Hour Nights

Schedule

12-hour night shifts with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT) will provide respiratory care in all inpatient areas, including the Emergency Department and ICU, with a focus on adult patients. The therapist may also assist in pediatric cases and neonatal care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer breathing treatments and manage ventilators.
• Draw and run arterial blood gas samples.
• Perform EKGs for inpatient and outpatient cases.
• Assist in intubation procedures.
• Provide care for patients requiring CPAP and high flow oxygen therapy.
• Coordinate with the lead therapist and other healthcare staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of ER and ICU experience.
• Pediatric experience preferred but willing to train.
• Valid CRT or RRT certification via NBRC.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and STABLE certifications.
