Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

This is a 3x12-hour position, working from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays are required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a pre/post-operative unit for the Cath lab, EP lab, PV lab, and interventional radiology. The role entails caring for patients that may require telemetry monitoring and necessitates knowledge of the management and hemostasis of arterial and venous access patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients before and after interventional procedures.
• Monitor telemetry and maintain hemostasis of arterial and venous access sites.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to patient needs based on telemetry readings.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with charge RN experience required.
• Active RN license must be held at the time of submission.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Telemetry experience is essential, particularly in managing patients post-Cath, EP, or IR procedures.
