Registered Nurse - Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care

Schedule

This position requires NIGHT shifts, specifically 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM or 7 AM to 7 PM with a rotation schedule. Candidates must be available for 36 to 48 hours per week and work a minimum of 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Attendance during at least one holiday per contract is required.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC), you will work in a setting with 36 beds, providing comprehensive care to elderly patients with acute medical needs. Your responsibilities will include medication administration, patient assessments, and coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medicine-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
