Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours per week available with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Med/Tele unit consisting of 43 beds. The ideal candidate must be flexible according to the facility's scheduling needs and be willing to float to other units if necessary. Charge nurse responsibilities may apply, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a cardiac med/tele environment.
• Administer medications and manage patient care plans effectively.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care, assessments, and responses accurately using EPIC.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
