Cath Lab / Electrophysiology Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (06:30 AM - 03:00 PM).

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Electrophysiology Technician who holds ACLS and BLS certifications, and is either ARRT or RCIS certified. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate monitoring of cardiac patients.
• Conduct arrhythmia induction and baseline measurements.
• Assist in cardiac ablation and cardioversion procedures.
• Engage in electrophysiology lab evaluations and procedures.
• Set up equipment and ensure sterile technique and isolation precautions are maintained.
• Insert and program AICDs and perform pacemaker insertions.
• Utilize fluoroscopy and ultrasound during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of Electrophysiology experience preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, CCI RCIS or ARRT certifications accepted.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirements, with medical exemptions only.
• Flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
