Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Imaging

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position involves 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, including days and evenings, occasional weekends; no holidays or nights are required.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging, where we specialize in providing care for patients undergoing various imaging procedures, including CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, and Interventional Radiology. We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, organized, and team-oriented Registered Nurses who possess strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Utilize telemetry skills in patient monitoring and assessment.
• Collaborate with radiology and imaging staff to ensure patient safety and communication.
• Assist in procedural areas while adhering to infection control measures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience required.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are mandatory.
