NOC Shift: 19:00 – 07:30, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background with high acuity emergency care experience in a Level I Trauma Center. This position requires independent hands-on skills to manage a diverse patient population, including trauma and critical care cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Manage airway and respiratory emergencies effectively.
• Conduct assessments and manage critical care for trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases.
• Assist with procedural sedation, chest tube care, and tracheostomy management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Active Pennsylvania RN license required.
• Experience must be hands-on and independent; observational or orientation experience in the ED does not qualify.
