Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various adult and pediatric service lines. Duties include administering respiratory therapies, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in patient education and support efforts.
• Maintain and operate all respiratory equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid North Carolina Respiratory License.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• NRP certification is preferred.
