Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00), Monday to Friday. Call requirement: Yes, one day per week, and weekend requirement is one weekend every 6-7 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in stroke-certified hospital settings. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and skills in various interventional radiology procedures and must be equipped to manage equipment and maintain sterile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, embolization, and stent placements.
• Manage and stock supplies, ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT certification is required; BLS certification is also mandatory.
• Experience with procedures such as carotid angiography, central venous access, and nephrostomy.
• Previous experience in stroke intervention preferred; first-time travelers not accepted.
