Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support during the night shifts, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver optimal nurse-led patient assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatments and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards within the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active and valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
• Willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
