Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to patients with various acuities across the age spectrum. Evaluates the nursing process and documents findings in the EMR. Directs patient care activities, collaborates with ancillary staff, and communicates with providers and co-workers regarding patient conditions. This position is focused on MED/SURG nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a MED/SURG setting.
• Evaluate and document patient conditions and care processes in the EMR.
• Direct and coordinate patient care activities.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Communicate changes in patient status to appropriate personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in MED/SURG nursing preferred.
