Surgical Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift options available including 4x10-hour (06:45 AM - 05:15 PM) and 5x8-hour (06:45 AM - 03:15 PM) with the possibility of later shifts if needed. Expect to work one weekend shift every 4-6 weeks and two call shifts per month.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to assist in surgical procedures across various specialties including general, GYN, urology, orthopedics, neuro, spine, podiatry, ENT, and robotic surgeries (xi or si). Floating to Labor and Delivery may be required in rare emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist with positioning patients and draping the surgical site.
• Handle instruments and assist surgeons during operations.
• Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in surgical assistance.
• Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and be a certified surgical technologist.
• Experience in surgical cases including general, GYN, urology, orthopedics, neuro, spine, podiatry, ENT, and robotic surgeries.
