This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts include Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) with rotating shifts covering holidays and weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse with a strong clinical background in emergency department settings. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients across all ages and diagnoses, performing critical assessments, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
• Assess and triage patients, providing appropriate interventions based on clinical need.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in the Cerner charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS required.
• Valid PA License or Compact License required at time of submission.
• Experience managing patients in varying conditions, including trauma and critical care.
