Schedule

Day shifts available: 4x10-hour schedule (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM). One late week per 4 weeks will be required to complete cases.

Job Description

The Ambulatory Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in assisting surgical teams and ensuring the effective operation of the surgical room. This position requires collaboration within a dynamic environment while providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team by providing necessary surgical instruments and supplies.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and infection control procedures.
• Potentially float within the perioperative facility as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Active NBSTSA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Radiation badge provided by parent company required.
• Experience in specialties such as Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, or Surgical Oncology is preferred.
