Contract RN - Emergency Department

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Job Description

The RN will provide exceptional care in a high-volume Emergency Department setting, managing a diverse patient population with varying medical needs. Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering medications, and overseeing patient care plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform procedures such as cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Work effectively as part of a cohesive team, supporting both staff and patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have: ALS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience; 2 years of ED experience is preferred.
• Candidates without required certifications will not be considered for the role.
