Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a maternity leave coverage. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in the operating room setting, ensuring a safe and sterile environment. The successful candidate will work closely with surgical teams and assist with various procedures while adhering to nursing standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room prior to, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other healthcare personnel during operations and other invasive procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
• Administer medications and provide post-operative care.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and certification in the state of practice.
• Experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
