MRI Aide Position

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position with an expected duration of 13 weeks.

Schedule

Shifts are from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The MRI Aide will work within the Radiology Department, specifically in an MRI setting. This role requires collaboration with MRI Technicians to provide care for patients undergoing MRI procedures. The Aide will support the operational needs of the MRI department while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist MRI Technicians during procedures and patient screenings.
• Prepare and assist patients before and after imaging procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the MRI workstation and equipment.
• Document patient information as required.
• Follow all health and safety protocols in the radiology department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current MRI experience.
• Experience with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment.
• Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed.
• Must have a personal vehicle for transportation.
• Permanent address must be included at the time of profile upload.
• All time-off requests must be documented at upload, with a maximum of 5 days accepted.
