7PM - 7AM, Three 12-hour shifts each week, including weekends.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in assessing and providing care for patients aged 12 to 18 in the ADOL unit, as well as adults in various acuity levels across other units. The nurse will be responsible for creating individualized care plans, managing medications, and utilizing crisis intervention techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' mental health status and recognize signs of psychiatric disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patients' needs.
• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications for efficacy and side effects.
• Provide crisis intervention and support, including de-escalation techniques.
• Communicate effectively with patients using therapeutic communication skills.
• Monitor patients for physical and psychological symptoms, including vital signs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification.
