Schedule

Scheduled shifts are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 per week. Weekend shifts required every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide care to adult and geriatric patients, focusing on rehabilitation from neuro, trauma, and burn incidents, as well as gait training and strengthening therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions and rehabilitation progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families on care plans and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Iowa.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience, preferably in rehabilitation.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screening and background checks prior to start.
• Immunization titers must be within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB).
