Shifts available: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Nights), guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Labor & Delivery. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, working closely with expectant mothers and their families. Responsibilities include monitoring patients in active labor, managing couplet care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal health and maternal vital signs during labor.
• Provide individualized care for laboring patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and post-partum care.
• Utilize electronic health records for documentation and communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience, with travel experience preferred.
• MUST have Iowa SING BG to clear, including criminal and child abuse portions.
• Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required.
• 10-panel drug test required, including opiates.
• Must have recent titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB.
