Mammography Technologist Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

A 40-hour work week, with shifts to be discussed during the interview. The schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic mammograms, assisting the radiologist and referring physicians in mammographic procedures, and ensuring patient care while adhering to the standards of quality as defined by the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammographic imaging procedures to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assist radiologists during mammographic procedures.
• Provide patient care in accordance with age-specific competency standards.
• Utilize hospital and department computer systems for patient management.
• Address patient concerns and provide support throughout the imaging process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• ARRT certification and Nevada State License are required (must have license before start date).
• BLS certification is also required.
