Days, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Every Other Weekend

Job Description

The Travel Swing Bed LPN will provide nursing care for up to 10 inpatient rehabilitation (Swing) patients. In the event that swing volume drops, they may absorb medical-surgical patients. These patients generally require less nurse-intensive care compared to traditional medical-surgical patients, but the skill set remains the same.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to inpatient rehab (Swing) patients.
• Monitor and administer IV medications as necessary.
• Be prepared to absorb medical-surgical patients if volume permits.
• Adhere to floating requirements primarily for patient assignments to med/surg.
• Engage with electronic medical records using MedHost.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ year of nursing experience required.
• Knowledge of IV medications is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
