Electrophysiology Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with an approximate 10 to 12 days per month for STEMI Call.

Job Description

The Electrophysiology Technician will provide essential support in the Cardiac Cath Lab, focusing on advanced cardiac procedures and technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural heart procedures, Impella management, and access to the latest equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing various electrophysiology and cardiology procedures, including TAVR, PFO, PCI, and DCCV.
• Ensure proper handling and operation of sophisticated medical equipment such as GE Innova and IABP.
• Maintain documentation accuracy in systems like MacLab and Meditech.
• Participate in self-scheduling within the EP and Stress lab departments.
• Contribute to patient safety and experience through quality care and effective communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab, particularly with PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP procedures.
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac technologies and procedures is essential.
