Occupational Therapist - Weekend Float Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend assistance is required on Saturday and Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our growing Rehab Unit. This float position will involve working across all units, providing essential care to acute and rehab patients. Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in evaluations and treatments according to occupational therapy standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Occupational Therapy evaluations and document findings.
• Implement and monitor Occupational Therapy treatments to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Manage equipment such as Hoyer lifts and EZ stands for safe patient handling.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BCLS certification required.
• Inpatient Rehab experience preferred.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) is essential.
