3x12's: Saturday, Sunday, and rotating weekdays, from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. No call requirements.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the direction of a physician and department supervisor. This role requires expertise in specialty areas such as cardiac, vascular, and general ultrasound, ensuring compliance with established protocols and care standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Evaluate ultrasound images for quality and completeness.
• Maintain current knowledge of technological advances in ultrasound imaging.
• Engage in ongoing training and support for new staff and sonography students.
• Participate in accreditation processes for respective modalities.
• Implement safety protocols and quality assurance measures in all procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum two years of clinical experience in ultrasound.
• ARDMS certification in relevant specialties (RDMS).
• Current CPR certification upon hire, with AHA BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in OBGYN and vascular ultrasound preferred.
