Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients in the Med Surg units, including orthopedics, surgical cases, strokes, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Med Surg settings.
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status, adjusting care as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Float between two Med Surg units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.
