Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Neonatal ICU provides optimal patient care using nursing processes while ensuring accountability for individualized patient outcomes throughout the care episode. This includes comprehensive nursing services for neonatal patients and their families/caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for neonatal patients.
• Coordinate care among multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
• Provide comprehensive support to families and caregivers.
• Utilize ventilator support and manage complex neonatal cases.
• Maintain high standards of quality care based on age-specific competency standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in a level 3 NICU or higher.
• Ventilator trained.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse license prior to hire.
