Job Description

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the general direction of a physician and department supervisor. You will have the opportunity to specialize in multiple areas, including Cardiac, Vascular, and General Ultrasound, contributing to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and care standards.
• Utilize advanced imaging skills to ensure improved patient outcomes.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff and students within the department.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to accreditation standards relevant to each modality.
• Participate in departmental educational sessions and contribute technical knowledge.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active registry with either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS, RVS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS, RVT, RDCS).
• CPR certification upon hire.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in ultrasound is required; experience in OBGYN, small parts, cardiovascular, and pediatrics is highly preferred.
