Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide high-quality patient care to individuals of various age groups, including neonates and pediatric patients. The role will involve collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of respiratory care services.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and assess patient responses
• Monitor and maintain ventilatory support for patients
• Educate patients and families about respiratory issues and treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop care plans

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Iowa State Respiratory Therapy License must be in hand at the time of submission
• Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Required experience in neonatal and pediatric care
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screening, including opiates
• Cleared background checks (criminal and child abuse checks) are mandatory
