Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

Night Shift: 19:00 – 07:30, 3 × 12 hr shifts per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, implement, and evaluate care needed for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN will collaborate with patients, their families, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure individualized patient care. The RN will also direct nursing support staff in the provision of care according to the standards of nursing practice and departmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and evaluating patient care needs.
• Implementing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Directing nursing support staff in patient care.
• Ensuring compliance with standards of nursing practice and departmental policies.
• Communicating effectively with patients and families to provide education and support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty preferred.
• Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License (required).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required).
