AM Shift: 07:00 – 19:30, 3 × 12 hr shifts per week, totaling 36 hrs/week.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients and is expected to float between all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and the ED for ICU holds/borders. The nurse may also assist in Women's and Family units as needed, receiving orientation for this responsibility. The nurse will ensure that patient care is individualized through collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team while adhering to established nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of a licensed physician.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to ensure individualized care.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and float to assigned units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in ICU (Required).
• PA Registered Nurse License (Required).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (Required).
• TNCC certification (Preferred).
