This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

Join a large team in a fast-paced hospital environment where clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses, focusing on orthopedics, neurological, and critical care caseloads. This is an excellent opportunity for Physical Therapist Assistants with at least one year of hospital acute experience, though strong new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality physical therapy services according to treatment plans for patients.
• Document progress toward identified objectives.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload and oversee compliance of department.
• Participate in a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication.
• Conduct patient and family education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree from an accredited school approved by CAPTE.
• Current state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy in Maryland.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication.
• Experience with documentation utilizing EMR.
