3 shifts of 12 hours with shared evening and weekend call.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist is a licensed professional under general supervision who performs a variety of duties in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, fractures, and medical abnormalities according to physician orders. This role requires proficiency in various imaging modalities and adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging examinations across all modalities, including radiology and CT.
• Understand complexities of imaging equipment and ensure optimal positioning of patients.
• Produce quality images consistently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and proper documentation for all procedures.
• Ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
• Assess patients for safety and needs based on age-appropriate criteria.
• Participate in ensuring a safe working environment.
• Handle equipment issues by notifying management and ensuring proper protocols are followed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Program with an Associate of Science Degree.
• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist Licensure (CRT).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred.
• Two years of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred.
• Experience in at least two imaging modalities.
• BLS Certification required.
