Physical Therapist - Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation

Job Description

This is a dynamic opportunity for a Physical Therapist with primary experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating and re-evaluating assigned residents and patients. The role involves planning and implementing ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the attending physician and/or consulting specialists. The Physical Therapist will also provide consulting services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned residents/patients.
• Develop and implement therapeutic physical therapy programs.
• Consult with attending physician and/or consulting specialists.
• Provide consulting physical therapy services as required.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR - Meditech.
• Be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary based on hospital operations.

Schedule

• Variable shift options: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm, Tues-Sat 8:30am-5:00pm, or Sun-Thurs 8:30am-5:00pm.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 6 months of work experience in at least one of the following settings: Acute, Rehab Hospital, or SNF.
• Active Hawaii Physical Therapist license required by the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification required.
