Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

Schedule

This position requires a night shift (1900-0730) with rotating weekends. A 12-hour call shift is required per pay period.

Job Description

The LDRP team delivers comprehensive labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care in a family-centered, medically safe environment. The role involves working with a highly trained team of nurses and medical staff who are adept in GYN surgical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages.
• Perform assessments and monitor fetal heart rates with basic fetal monitoring skills.
• Care for newborns and stabilize high-risk neonates as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license is required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification is required.
• AHA ACLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills are required; STABLE certification is preferred.
• Experience in Triage, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery is required.
• Previous experience in stabilization of high-risk neonates is preferred.
