Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights (1900-0730) with rotating weekends. One 12-hour call shift required per pay period.

Job Description

The LDRP team offers comprehensive labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care provided by a highly trained group of nurses and medical staff in a family-centered, caring, and medically safe environment. All sites are equipped to handle GYN surgical care. Candidates should possess experience in Triage, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.
• Perform triage and manage patient assessments effectively.
• Administer medications and manage care in line with established protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families concerning care processes and newborn care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS and NRP certifications.
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills are required; STABLE certification preferred.
• Previous experience in the stabilization of high-risk neonates is preferred.
