Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and provides treatment upon referral from a physician. This role involves treating patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain and develop, restore, or maintain physical function through the use of various techniques including exercise, massage, heat, cold, air, light, water, electricity, or sound. The Physical Therapist collaborates with family members and the health team regarding the patient’s abilities and goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Administer physical therapy techniques to alleviate pain and enhance recovery.
• Work closely with families and health team members to establish patient goals.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and treatments provided.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Oregon State Board of Health.
• Current valid Oregon driver's license.
• Current CPR certification.
