Day Shift: 6:45am - 3:15pm
Evening Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Night Shift: 11:15pm - 7:15am

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide essential support to patients in a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and the ability to report and document patient conditions accurately. Responsibilities include assisting in daily living activities, taking vital signs, and ensuring the overall comfort of patients under the direction of nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including eating, bathing, and dressing.
• Measure and record vital signs and patient output.
• Recognize and report abnormal signs and symptoms to the healthcare team.
• Implement care and treatment procedures as prescribed.
• Utilize assistive devices and participate in restorative care programs.
• Maintain patient hygiene and follow infection control protocols.
• Support the treatment team in providing comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least six (6) months of experience in a long-term care health facility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Workers certification is required within six (6) months of employment.
• Experience in Hawaii is a plus!
