Job Description

Join our dedicated team at the Samaritan Wound Care department, where we specialize in treating acute or chronic wounds resulting from various conditions, including diabetes, surgery, injury, and poor blood flow. Our physician-driven scope of practice focuses on wound, ostomy, and continence care while incorporating adjunctive therapies like vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with acute or chronic wounds.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop patient treatment plans.
• Administer therapies and perform interventions as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on wound care and prevention strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred.
• Certification in Wound Care preferred.
• 6 months of wound care experience required.
• Experience in acute care preferred.
