Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum

Job Description

The LDRP team offers labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care by a highly trained team of nurses and medical staff in a family-centered caring and medically safe environment. All sites are trained in GYN surgical care, and we require experience in Triage, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, with Nursery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the LDRP team, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
• Support and education to families throughout their birthing experience.
• Monitoring and assessment of maternal and newborn conditions.
• Assisting with GYN surgical care as required.
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS and NRP certifications are required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent verification required.
• STABLE certification preferred.
• Perinatal related RNC certification preferred.
• Previous experience in stabilization of high-risk neonates preferred.
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills preferred.

Schedule

This is a night shift position with rotating weekends.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
