Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

Job Description

The LDRP team provides compassionate and comprehensive care for labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn services in a family-centered environment. Our highly trained nurses and medical staff prioritize maternal and neonatal safety and well-being, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for patients and their families.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 1900 to 0730, rotating weekends, and one 12-hour call shift per pay period.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages.
• Perform basic fetal monitoring and assess maternal and neonatal conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Conduct assessments and provide interventions for high-risk neonates as needed.
• Engage with families, providing education and support throughout the process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS and NRP certifications required.
• Basic fetal monitoring skills required; STABLE certification preferred.
• Experience in Triage, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery is required.
• Previous experience in stabilization of high-risk neonates preferred.
