Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients in various facilities, floating between locations as needed. The position requires proficiency in various emergency protocols and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer emergency care and life support measures to patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.
• Utilize medical technology and equipment as required.
• Document patient interactions and treatment procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
