Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit provides direct care or influences care for acutely/critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems. The ICU offers care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that provides intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced monitoring techniques to ensure patient safety.

Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule from 1900 to 0730, with rotating weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license is required upon submission.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications are required for ICU-CCU roles.
• PALS and TNCC certifications are preferred.
• 3 years of previous ICU experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent verification is required due to CAP requirements.
