Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Float Pool

Job Description

The SHS Valley Traveler Float Pool supports staffing across multiple facilities. This role requires flexibility to float between hospitals, with a primary site assigned for most of the contract. Schedules vary and may include primarily weekend shifts or minimal weekend requirements. Candidates should be adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor, delivery care, and postpartum care for mothers and newborns.
• Perform fetal monitoring and provide comprehensive patient care within the float pool.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
• AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Preferred: Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE.
• 2 years of labor experience, including labor management, delivery care, and postpartum care.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to CAP requirements.
• Epic proficiency required.
• This position requires the use of the employee's personal automobile and the ability to travel between work assignments.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
