Physical Therapist - Outpatient

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM).

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient therapy services primarily dealing with chronic, acute, and post-operative orthopedic conditions, along with occasional neurological conditions. The therapist will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions based on assessments.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education to patients and families on preventative care and rehabilitation exercises.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care using electronic health record systems (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Texas Physical Therapy License.
• BLS certification required.
• Certifications in Manual Therapy and Hand Therapy are preferred.
