Physical Therapist (Outpatient)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No weekends required.

Job Description

Join our team as an Outpatient Physical Therapist, where you will provide essential rehabilitation services to patients in a hospital-based outpatient rehab unit. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and mobility. You may need to float between like units or sister facilities as per facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Implement therapy interventions and monitor progress.
• Document patient care and progress in charting system (Epic).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting.
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previously charged experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Travel experience is required.
