Physical Therapist - Acute Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-Hour schedule (08:30 AM - 05:00 PM), with the possibility of weekend coverage every Saturday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in an Acute Care Hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of patient diagnoses and be able to conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and execute therapy interventions aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform therapeutic interventions for diverse patient populations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and rehabilitation processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current valid California Physical Therapist license required.
• Certifications in Manual Therapy and Hand Therapy are required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
